Our team in Essen currently has an opening for a Manager (m/f/d) Post Merger Integration (M&A)

YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for overall process of post-merger integration and all PMI project management related workstreams.

Key tasks:

  • Leadership of whole integration process for newly acquired companies. Coordination of workstreams and sub-project teams
  • Analysis of target organization and development of integration plan, relevant workstreams and tasks
  • Establishment of international and cross-functional PMI teams
  • Engage with Business Unit Management to achieve synergy realization
  • Establishing reporting and tracking of integration progress, synergies and financial performance of newly acquired companies
  • Development of action plans and measures to countersteer where needed
  • Adapt and roll out guidelines and best practices for PMI to establish best in class PMI Management
  • Closely collaborate with Regions and BUs to have full transparency of current PMI projects
  • Update BSP Excom on a regular basis to the status of PMI projects
  • Closely collaborate with Corporate M&A, BSP M&A as well as Internal Audit and BSP Controlling as needed
  • Closely collaborate with Core IT on a best practice for swift IT integration of acquired targets
  • Follow-up on findings from internal audit reports for newly acquired companies

YOUR PROFILE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or simila
  • 5 - 7 years of professional experience, preferably in Big4 or a similar position at a multinational company
  • Practical knowledge and experience in post merger integration and related change management
  • Experience in leading international projects
  • International stakeholder engagement skills
  • Fluent in English. Good German language advantageous
  • C-Level communication skills
