Our team in Essen currently has an opening for a Project Manager Brenntag Excellence Finance EMEA (m/f/d) 

YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assume the responsibility of the EMEA Finance Project Manager
• Sponsor the Lean Six Sigma and the Excellence culture within EMEA Finance organization
• Manage the Finance digitalization and Excellence global roadmap roll-out (incl. As-Is analysis beforehand)
• Harmonize and streamline EMEA Finance projects portfolio
• Assist SVP EMEA Finance and the full EMEA Finance team in defining the proper projects pipeline, and setting priorities
• Work collaboratively with Excellence and Finance Governance teams to ensure full harmony between all strategies and roadmaps, local and global.
• Identify new potential process improvement initiatives
• Establish and oversee audit programs and ensure compliance with local and global standards
• Execution of excellence initiatives on time, in scope and in budget
• Coach managers, teams, and Green Belts within Finance organization
• Perform trainings and moderate workshops
• Actively listen and involve people from all relevant levels of the organization
• Share experience with global teams, ensure cross-locational learning and best practices
• Creation respectively adoption of global best practices in the functions

YOUR PROFILE

• Education and experience
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or equivalent
• Post graduate professional certification is advantageous
• Minimum 5 years of extensive finance experience
• Mandatory end to end finance processes knowledge
• Team leadership experience is preferred
• Lean/Six Sigma/Shingo/Continuous Improvement knowledge advantageous
• Fluent English is a must, other languages desirable
• Interpersonal skills
• Strong team player and networker; ability to work at all levels across the organization
• Eager to learn new approaches, tools, and methodologies
• Willing to work in a highly dynamic environment
• Passionate for improvement and strong bias for action and results orientation
• Remarkable analytical and presentation skills
• Natural leader who actively listens to others and values others’ opinions
