Our team in Essen currently has an opening for a Global Pharma Controller (m/f/d)

YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop, coordinate and report business performance metrics as well as financial, commercial and operational KPIs of Global Pharma BU and provide action-oriented reports
• Provide Pharma leadership with business performance reports and ad-hoc analysis for decision making.
• Coordinate month-end closing activities as well  as financial planning and budgeting for business unit incl. forecasts, target/ actual analysis
• Provide financial insights and work collaboratively with the Pharma teams  to support  business growth and achievement of strategic plans
• Prepare, coordinate and evaluate business investment decisions with the Business Unit Heads
• Takes part and challenges key business decisions using relevant reporting and analysis, and presenting data in a commercial way, to optimize profitability, costs and efficiency of activities.
• Provide support for M&A and Integration activities for BU.

YOUR PROFILE

• Minimum 3 years of combined professional experience in financial management / (industrial) distribution industry
• Academic degree in business administration with focus on Accounting and/or Finance
• Excellent analytical skills (high level of quality / accuracy of work)
• Experience in working in an international environment
• Strong communications and interpersonal skills, working across all levels and functions
• Good communication skills with a fluency in English
