Global HR ESG Manager (m/f/d)

In your role as Global HR ESG Manager (m/f/d) you report directly to our CHRO and consult and work with Global Leadership Team, business groups, and other HR colleagues as lead of Diversity Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) to build an inclusive and diverse culture and workforce at Brenntag.


YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and deliver global people related ESG as well as Diversity, Equity & Inclusion programs and projects across Brenntag
  • Review current practices and policies, assessing and analyzing the extent to which they support or hinder the company’s diversity goals
  • Shape and establish the process to prepare the annual sustainability report for all HR-related aspects
  • Develop tracking strategies and reports to monitor as well as evaluate the impact and ROI of programs, deriving recommendations for program enhancement and improvement
  • Shape and plan internal and external communication for critical events, programs and people related ESG as well as DE&I education initiatives

YOUR PROFILE

  • Successfully completed university degree in the area of economics, sustainability or comparable qualification
  • About 3 - 5 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in the field of people related ESG and DE&I, preferably with an international scope
  • Strong project management, conceptual and organizational skills, with the ability to adapt to a complex dynamic environment
  • Ability to analyze and leverage data to develop insights, tell stories, drive decisions, and measure impact
  • Independent, organized, and structured working-style; ideally with international experiences
  • Communicative and positive person with a strong hands-on mentality and a persuasive attitude
  • Proficient in MS Office and Project Management
  • Fluent in German and English language
